5Best running shoes I've ever had  Sep 07, 2007 By A viewer
You get what you pay for. Sure, these are a bit pricier than lower models, but my feet are happy-- and that's the key. I can't run much anymore (knees), but I'm training to walk a marathon, and the key for me is how not to get blisters over the long haul. And for the first time in any shoes, after a 14 mile walk, my feet were fine. If that's not a great recommendation, I don't know what is. The caveat here is that every foot is different and some brands just fit some feet better than others. I've always been an Asics wearer-- they fit my feet just right. And for the long-distance, I went with a larger shoe. And it's perfect. But I strongly recommend you get fitted at a specialty store by experts. Once you know the shoe (and the size) that works for you, you're golden. And if these work for you, they should work as well if not better than any other running shoe you can name. I love 'em.

5Best Running Shoes  Dec 11, 2007 By C. Moore
After years of running, trying every brand of shoes and bad knees, I tried these running shoes 5 years ago and I haven't changed since. I rack up about 25 miles a week and I have no problems with my knees because of these shoes!!! I highly recommend them to anyone who is a serious runner, or someone who only runs a few miles a week.

5AWESOME SHOE  Sep 18, 2007 By SuperFryDogger
I have worn the Asics Kayano for the last 3 years when I got fitted at a specialty shoe store. I have horrible knees, one kneecap isnt on there right anymore, but running in these badboys makes it a joy. I highly recommend these shoes to anybody with knees that arent in that great of shape anymore. Plus they dont just come in the girlie boring colors.

5I will never wear anything else.  Oct 15, 2007 By T. Casto
These shoes are wonderful. I've worn a couple other brands of running shoes, New Balance and some old Nikes years ago. With the New Balance, I thought that was what running shoes were supposed to feel like and when it was time to buy new shoes I almost went back to the same NB model. After some research I decided to try these Asics on and I was blown away. They provide perfect support, cushioning and it feels like you're walking on a cloud. After a run my feet never feel tired or achy. I have a lower arch, but it's not completely flat and my feet are also a tad wide in the toe area, so I bought the men's version and they've worked out wonderfully. I will be going back again and again for this shoe. They are on the expensive side, but once you try them on you'll understand they're worth every penny!

5Simply the BEST!  Sep 20, 2007 By D. Ford "Deb"
This shoe is the best out there! I have used Asics, after a doctor's recommendation, for the past 15 years or so. This particular shoe I just acquired in August and I love it -- they have exceeded their own awesome record. As others indicate, it's perfect for those of us with bad knees or even plantar fasciatis, any feet problems. It's just the best!
