Fresh Jogger Apr 26, 2007
By Michelle D. Foote I bought these shoes after doing some extensive research about the pains I would get after jogging with my last pair of shoes. I won't claim that these new shoes are miracle workers although I wish they were, I believe they were worth the dollars. They have alot more padding and support that my last pair of shoes that's for sure! Makes jogging a more plesant experience. I still encounter pain but I'm not sure if this is because I've been damaged from my last pair of shoes....it's alot less pain though. So all in all I recommend these shoes and if you are thinking about starting jogging do lots of research!!

GT-2120 trail similar to road Apr 29, 2008
By Sarah Phillips I have always had Asics 2120's for road racing and now they are discontinuing them. Dang. However, I found these on-line and bought them, hoping they would be similar. They are. They are a little heavier (but not enough for me to notice - I'm a 9-10 minute/mile girl), a little tighter around the ankle (for keeping out trail debris, I guess), and that's about it. I'm still breaking them in; they do take longer to break in than the road 2120's. Overall, I'm very satisfied and happy and I'll definitely buy them again if I can't find the road 2120's.

Day Hike or Trail Running Jul 18, 2008
By Qualefactor I love ASICS, let me say that right up front. They are pretty much the only running shoes I own. I have the GT-21 for the road, and the GT-2120 for the trail. I do a lot of day hiking/bouldering/trail jogging, so I really needed a shoe with good support, breathability (no I am not sure that's a word, but it works for these purposes), and durability.
The tread on the shoes lasts plenty long enough for logging miles and miles up and down rocks and mountain sides. I haven't turned my ankle yet, and I'm a disaster.
Caveat: If you have not ever been fit for running shoes by a knowledgeable salesperson, please get fitted first--that's the best way to prevent injuries and disappointment.

nice pair of shoes Jul 14, 2008
By J. Serman I wore these shoes for a couple of hour before i ran in them and they took about 3-4 runs to break in but now they are really great. My feet feel great lately I think I might have to stock up and buy a second pair soon.
My favorite walking/trail shoes! Mar 20, 2009
By Carolyoga These shoes are the best and at 69.99 a steal. Of course it's always a good idea to try on running/walking shoes before buying them but if you find them in the store they'll surely cost $100, so test drive them in a store then buy them here :-)
