the mesh doesn't keep it cool when it is really hot out Jun 30, 2011
By Logical I ordered this hat in 3 colors thinking they would be perfect for golf. The 'sage' one is not the color of sage - it is brighter more like the inside of a lime.
The UV protection might work but I think wearing the hat made me feel the heat more - it was 94 degrees today but it felt like 100 - my face was all red by the end of 9 holes as though I was really exerting myself or something.
Also it does not want to keep its shape - it wants to go flat at the crown which looks dorky - they must have stuffed paper into the crown to make it stand up for the picture - and in the picture the brim looks formed like a visor peak but it is flat too and will not keep a curved shape.
Also - it kept trying to blow off in the wind (thank goodness for the chin cord that prevents it from blowing away).
