Great for dog-mushing Nov 18, 2007
By A. Steer We use this product in Alaska for dog-mushing. It withstands temps to nearly -30 F. Great use of LED technology and saves on batteries! The C battery pack must be kept warm to work properly.

Lightweight small and bright Nov 21, 2009

Good buy, well worth it highly recommended.....
This headlamp is great, really light, does not have to stop the circulation to my brain to stay in place, is super bright, great for running night time on the woodland trails. It's fun, night running, with this headlamp. I had another headlamp, prior to the Brunton, a cheap dull beamed contraption, and had to be clamped around my head, eyes feeling poppy, vice-like, to keep it from slipping, principally a weight issue. My only criticism is that I would like the T Bar to hold the Brunton in place rather than just a band, the band automatically creates tension in the neck, at least until one realises the lamp is not going to fall down, whack hard on the nose, and leave one with a bruise that looks like the payoff from a drunken brawl in the local bar, which of course, my other headlamp did...

An amazing light Jan 12, 2009

This is an amazing headlamp that puts out a lot of light and batteries last forever. I own 3 of them and use them for many things, including a bicycle light. I have tried a lot of other lights, some cheaper, some more expensive, and this one is in a class by itself. If you have been disappointed with other headlamps, I bet you won't be with this one. I thought it expensive, but now I know it's worth the money.

Best headlamp I ever owned Jul 10, 2008

Working as an electrician I am in dark areas until I install the lights. I've had many cheaper head lamps but they don't last and eat batteries like crazy. I've had this one over a month with the same batteries and it's still bright as ever. Very comfortable design. Much better than ones with strap over top of head. Light is very bright and head swivels up and down to direct beam. Unlike others I have owned the switch is easy to operate while wearing. It seems very well made and suspect it will last me a long time. I've found no drawbacks to this headlamp and would highly recommend it to anyone especially if needed on a daily basis.

The best, by far Sep 01, 2008
By B. North Having owned several different headlamps before, I was reluctant to spend the money on this one. I am glad I did. It is by the far the brightest and longest lasting headlamp I have ever purchased. I use mine for everything; hunting, fishing, camping, caving, and even an adventure race. The light is bright and the batteries long lasting, with even better results using lithium batteries. Excellent, excellent product.
