A must for long bike rides Jul 27, 2008 I've gotten hooked on Shot Bloks as an energy source for longer bike rides.
They are easy to carry, eat, and provide a foolproof way of monitoring calorie consumption. Yes, they're sweet, but they don't give me that sick to my stomach feeling that many of the gels are known for. The texture is a huge improvement over gels as well. Whether you chew it quickly or just hold it in your mouth, eating it is easy.
I've tried several of the flavors and settled on Strawberry, with Lemon-Lime a close second.
