 Great product, erratic pricing Nov 07, 2007

Over the last 3 months, I ordered about 15 4-packs of this stuff. It really does taste good, it's got a good nutritional profile, and it's more convenient than powdered mixes.
When I first ordered it, it was selling for $4.95 per 4-pack, which was partly why I ordered so much of it.
When I went to re-order a few days ago, the price had nearly doubled to $8.95 per 4-pack, or about a dollar more than at the CVS down the street (which has high prices to begin with). Remind me why I'm willing to wait a few days to receive products I could buy down the street? Ah yes, Amazon, it's because they are usually cheaper here.
So, today, I got an "Amazon Recommends" email that included--you guessed it--this product. What's the price now? $11.95 for a 4-pack!
Amazon, I'm sorry that I bled you dry ordering this stuff when you had such an amazing price on it, but your re-pricing of it over the last few days has been laughable...

First of all, I didn't recieve my entire order in one shipment. It was spaced out over a couple of weeks. It took a little over a week to get the initial shipment. When I did recieve my shipment, I opened the box to find the 4-packs were loosly packed in shipping peanuts. Because of this, one of the 4-packs I ordered was damaged in route. I love the product and use it daily but Vitaminshoppe needs to work on its shipping methods to get my business, again.

I need alot of protein because of having Bariactic surgery. Myoplex Original gives me that protein, with fewer calories than any other drink for the money. It also gives me lots of fiber, not found in other protein drinks. It may have been developed for exercise and strengh training; but it is wonderful for others also.
