The perfect excersize bike for watching TV... Jan 14, 2008
By P. Flint
"Pixel Craftsman"
I purchased this hesitantly based on the lower price point 'hoping' it would be a decent, useable bike. I was pleasantly surprised and my expectations were more than exceeded. It's sturdy, well made and very comfortable and not an eyesore. The front cross bar has wheels and you can easily wheelbarrow it around. There are a variety of preset workouts and you can set the time, distance, resistance, etc. and the display is easy to read, but not so big that it's distracting. The telemetry seems to work well, although I could care less as long as I'm able to work up a sweat. I was also surprised at how quiet it is, virtually silent and you can easily/comfortably sit through a 1.5 hour movie and ride the whole time. We actually purchased real bikes last year to exercise with, but we live on a very busy, unlit rural road where we can't go cycling without risking becoming road kill. This looks like it will be the perfect alternative. If I absolutely had to gripe about something, it would be that it has to be plugged in and the power jack is in the front, which makes having a cord out unavoidable, but it's not a problem for me because I have it right next to a wall in my bedroom. Other than that, this is a terrific bike IMHO.

bike Feb 25, 2008
By Michael I. Taylor The bike I purchased came just a few days early, which was nice. When it arrived the seat had a small tear on it. The company replaced the seat in less than 10 days. I got very good service all the way around. The bike is excellent. It is very easy to assemble and easy to exercise on. The price was also great. Thank you. Purchase one and you will also enjoy getting fit, strengthening your leg muscles and even burning calories all in the comforts of your own home.

HealthTrainer 540R Recumbent Exercise Bike Jun 06, 2008
By Ron M. Rosendorn Hi everyone. I bought this bike for my elderly mother who had broken her hip maybe 10 years ago and was not getting very much exercise. She needed a bike with comfortable seat that had a back. The bike needed to be stable and not apt to tip over. The pedal resistance for her needed to be very easy but which could be made slightly harder to challenge her. As she is rather short, the seat needed to be adjustable such that the shortest setting was sufficiently close to the pedals. These were basically my criteria. Oh, one more I did not want to spent more than $300.00. This bicycle basically met all of my criteria. The only criteria of concern was the adjustable seat. At the shortest seat setting, her feet just barely can pedal comfortably. My mother is probably only about 5 feet tall or maybe slightly under and for her height, the shortest seat setting just barely makes it. The bike is really made for larger people but overall I am very happy with the purchase, delivery time, and Amazon's service.

a first class experience Jul 09, 2008
By Donald Lawrence The bike arrived earlier than I expected and was extremely well packaged.Instructions for assembling were easily followed. Parts appeared well engineered and constructed. I especially appreciated the way one can adjust the placement of the seat relative to the pedals. It does take some experimentation to learn how to use the various exercise programs.
