The EZ Strider Double Jogging Stroller from InSTEP is another top of the line jogger from a company which relentlessly manufacturers winners. The EZ Strider has all of the features needed and expected on a double jogger, but at the fraction of the price of other joggers. It is lightweight for easy storage and easy maneuverability, two assets needed in a quality jogger.
One of the standout features is the footrest. It allows the child to rest his feet without the parent having to worry about them getting caught on anything while dangling in the air. One of the other key features is the ease with which the jogger can move from flat terrain, sidewalks, to rough terrains, park trails. The reason for this is the independent rear suspension. It helps to reduce impact on all uneven terrain, making the ride more enjoyable to the child.
The InSTEP EZ Strider Double Jogging Stroller is loaded with all of the jogging stroller necessities. But, it comes at only a portion of the cost.

By Michelle Mc Pros: 1)it rolls
Cons:
1)The most upright seat position is still too reclined. My kids wind up pulling themselves forward to see.
2)The knee-to-foot distance is too short for my short 2 yr olds. The foot rest is too narrow & too shallow - their shoes unintentionally drag the tire.
3)The foot brakes can appear to be locked even when they aren't.
4)Even when they're buckled-in, my kids can tough the back tires. If they wiggle loose from shoulder harness (easy to do), they can touch the front tire with their hands.
5)I kick the axle during long strides. Also, the handle is too short (I'm only 5'6")
6)It provides quite a bumpy ride
7)The plastic rims make it difficult (impossible for us) to find & install replacement tires
8)I gave it away!

I have the single version of this. Aug 11, 2006

I got this single Instep jogger a little while back, put it together and started using it right away. My little one is now big enough for a jogging stroller, but now that I saw how secure she is in this, I probably could have started using it earlier. Its super nice, large sunshade, small pocket for storing wallet, keys, water bottle, reclines and has a secure harness. There is also a hand brake, sturdy foot brakes and a wrist strap should the stroller ever (gulp) get away from you! Hope that never happens! Also, the fact that the single version folds smaller than my Graco Metrolite is very impressive. I would recommend this to anyone who is a moderate/average jogger.
