Marvelous! I now have 3. Had to buy new one when car hit me. Aug 20, 2010 Started with 'front basket', but it only held 11 lbs. Rear basket is EXCELLENT! When a car hit my bike, I used the basket on my walker to bring my food from kitchen to my room. Worked perfectly. Someone said I should 'patent' the idea. Great product to purchase! Debi Morrow
It does the job Aug 17, 2010 The basket clips on and off the rack very easily. It would fit any rack, it clamps to any size. You can attach it toward the rear of the rack, so that your butt doesn't bump the basket when you ride. The carrying handle is easy to take on and off too. I take it in the grocery store with me and always get compliments on my basket. I try to avoid bumps so nothing bounces out, maybe a little cover held on by straps would be helpful.

Excellent Basket Jul 29, 2010 I've had this basket for three years now, and it has been a very wise and excellent buy. I just got back from a trip to our community garden and again, this basket saves the day. I also use it to put in my library books and have used it for when I was taking college classes and rode to school. Along with a bike rack, it is very sturdy and it is very convenient to simply take it off and go in wherever one needs to go which includes the grocery store...
Psyched-- so far Jul 21, 2010 Pretty psyched on this basket so far. I got it just a few days ago.
LOVE having a basket that attaches to my rear rack. I only need to bring it when I know I'll need to use it-- that means trips to the grocery store and the like. I don't have to carry that extra weight around on my daily 5-mile ride to school, or worry about it being damaged or stolen (bike thieves in the Bay Area will literally take anything that isn't bolted down-- lights, waterbottles, helmets, baskets...).
I can easily take it off of my bike and into the grocery store-- no wondering about how much I can fit, and I skirt the issue of grocery bags completely.
The weave is tight enough that I'm never worried about something small slipping through, and it's deep enough that most items won't bounce out-- I'll probably end up throwing a cargo net over it just to be sure. Unfortunately, this also means that it's not as strong and dense as other baskets. The shape could easily be damaged, but I assume you could just as easily re-shape the basket.
It's easy to snap the basket on and off-- I was worried about reattaching it today when I used it for my groceries, but it was no problem.
I've heard that the attachment parts have a tendency to wear out over time. I hope that this doesn't happen to me, or if it does, it's far enough down the road to justify buying a new one. I've yet to see a basket of this design, and I'm really happy I was able to find what I was looking for.
Great looking and super convenient but broke after one summer Jun 30, 2010 I only used this a couple of times a week, never carrying more than 10 lbs and the bottom part that attaches itself to the rack broke. The basket itself remains in great condition. I can re-attach it as a semi-permanent fixture but would love to figure out how to fix it bringing it back to its original super quick attachment/detachment form. Great idea, nice looking but unfortunately has issues with quality and/or design of the attachment unit.
