For my wife. Feb 04, 2009
By nanmka My wife runs typically in the dark. She runs on the side of the road. Drives me nuts. This vest does make her more visible and can hold the gizmos she takes with her. It is also very light and retains no heat. She now takes the vest with her when she travels.
Of course, I also told her that if she doesn't wear it, I would get very cranky.

Not a full vest, but works well Feb 01, 2009
By Reader If you're expecting a full length vest for a male adult, you will be disappointed. This just goes over any clothes you're wearing and covers chest in the front and down to mid-back behind when you're cycling.
Creates good visibility. Nathan _must_ enlarge this accessory, or offer a larger size if they want this product to succeed and become more popular.
If you're over 170 pounds, this probably won't work.

Great product! The vest has running LCD lights that will run in 3 modes. Bright colored for easy visiblity by distracted drivers!

disappointing Nov 30, 2007
By Jean McKnight I bought this vest from bikesomewhere.com and it didn't work. Wrote customer service and they responded with an email saying call them (on a toll line, long distance.) I tried 3 times and got only a machine. Left message but they didn't call back. Wrote again to tell them this, ask if they knew how to fix or I should return, got nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! (I should have just returned this, still pissed at them/myself about this.)
Friend who is good with these things fixed it, works now, is very light and comfortable but is not very bright. Better than nothing but marginally. Have much better LED traffic safety vest now. Would not buy again. Another friend bought one and it came broken too!

By Andrew Stimson This vest is more like a LED reflective bib and looks a little silly if you are wearing it over a large winter jacket. Otherwise, it functions as advertised.
