Comfort is terrible Jul 20, 2009 The look of the product is nice. Unfortunately, the look does not match the level of comfort. The shoe is horrifyingly rigid---it does not flex in the slightest. I don't think any amount of "breaking in" this shoe would alter it for the better.
I bought this for my mother to replace another pair of New Balance shoes she had been using for a long time (they are different models, however). Still, I was expecting the new product to be similar to the old---I was wrong. The new product is completely different, all to the bad.
I am disappointed, because normally New Balance makes better products than this. Not sure what happened with this shoe.

My Second Pair Nov 02, 2008 After going to TIP TOP, a shoe store on 72nd Street in New York, and being carefully fitted by Harold for these same sneakers at $150 a pair + tax, I knew which size was right for me and was able to order my second pair from Amazon in the same size. What could be nicer?
