pb Mar 18, 2010 I gave it as a gift to someone and they say they love that it is small and it doesn't have to be clipped to your waist. It works as long as it isn't horizontal
By far, the best I've ever owned Mar 18, 2010 Over the past 10 years or so, I have bought 5 to 10 pedometers from Sports authority, Radio Shack and on-line. None of them lasted more than 3 months before failing until I bought the Omron HJ112. It is now going on it's 3rd year, and it does everything that it claims, except that I find that the average battery life is closer to 9 months than 6 (and you can buy these batteries for very low prices on Amazon - I bought 5 Maxell for $2.00). Does everything that it claims - I keep it in my pocket, walk 1,000 or so steps and check the readout - almost right on target - well within the 5% claimed by the manufacturer. Likewise, I walk in NYC a lot where it is easy to measure a mile (20 blocks). Again, almost right on target. Buy this any you'll probably never buy another.
GREAT UNIT Mar 18, 2010 I had purchased this pedometer for my wife and myself and loved it so much that this one is a gift for a friend. I have never had one that is so easy to use and it is extremely accurate. You can't go wrong with this one.
