waste of money Feb 13, 2010 WARNING-while I don't fault the seller in any way these poles are not worth 2 cents! I ordered them, they ship from China, so prepare for quite a wait. And then had to return them ,twice, and finaly ask for a refund. If you're thinking about purchasing these I'd strongly suggest a different kind of pole.

Pretty Good for the Price Jan 21, 2009 These poles have nice features. They are "collapsible" and the hand slings are good. The grips are not cork. They are speckled rubber and could be little softer. Using the poles on concrete makes a rattling, vibrating noise with each step and makes the poles feel somewhat flimsey. But when using the spike tips on earthy surface this is eliminated and will probably make them last longer. Overall not bad for the money.

Nordic Poles enhance fitness walking May 09, 2008 Recently I started walking 2-3 miles three times a week to supplement my gym exercise and aerobics. I had seen people walking with poles and I was impressed with their energy and graceful movement. After doing some research about the effectiveness of the poles, I decided to get a pair for both my husband and me. There is a wide variety of features and price tags. I wanted cork handles to help manage sweaty palms, hand straps to secure poles to my hands, easy adjustment, quality construction and durability,reasonable price. These poles had it all PLUS a bag to carry them in, extra "feet" to attach on varied terrain, and -- most importantly -- a GREAT PRICE. The poles are exactly as advertised and I have gotten used to using them. They are supposed to help burn at least 20% more calories during my walk. Burn, babies, burn!
