Good value Mar 03, 2008
By C. Dalrymple I received the poles very quickly. The poles are of very good quality and very light. They are collapsible, include the gloves, and extra tips--plus a carry bag with water bottle bag, and parts bag attached to it. The poles have a "shock absorbing" mechanism which provides a very slight amount of "give" when striking and pushing with the poles. By the time you include shipping to the US the price is about the same as you would pay for a decent set of poles alone, but you get a decent set of poles, gloves, bags, tips, etc. A nice value. Rapidly received with no problem.

Good value for the money. Nov 14, 2007

I have tried several walking sticks over the past two years, and these are the best value for the money that I have found. The only thing I'd change would be the rubber covers. They tend to fall off easily as one is walking.

not sure.... Jan 06, 2009

I've never seen nor ordered walking poles before so I didn't have a comparison, but I was surprised that the cork on the handles was cracked when I opened the package. It appeared to have been carelessly glued in place. I was further SHOCKED to learn that the LIGHTWEIGHT poles cost $26.00 for shipping! I must have been in a Christmas haze and not noticed that upon ordering because I absolutely would not have paid $26 to have two poles that weigh less than a bag of sugar, to be mailed! It wasn't even sent priority and I didn't get them for about 5 weeks, so it wasn't a special order shipping procedure. I paid less than that to have my 32" TV shipped to me! My 8x10 room size rug, that weighs eleventy hundred pounds cost less to ship. I was disappointed.
