The 2610 provides hands-free light where you need it, when you need it. A dual mode button activates all 3 LEDs for full brightness, or just 1 to extend battery life. The adjustable cloth strap fits comfortably and securely on your head, while the rubber strap grips tightly to hard hats and helmets. Both are included, as well as 3 AAA alkaline cells. The HeadsUp Lite 2610 is ideal for reading maps and light duties around the campsite.

This is a work tool for me Feb 26, 2011
By JOHN MUSSON

The headlight comes with both a stretch fabric headband and a rubber helmet band (with suspension hooks to keep it in place). There are two switch settings bright and brighter. I was working in a control space where we were testing a backup generator switchover system -- I was using a small Pelican flashlight which was not adequate for the size of the space when the lights went off. I put on the headband light, turned it on -- good light; I switched it to high power and it provided light for everyone in the workspace. Great light.

Good choice for the price Jun 16, 2008

Lightweight and fairly comfortable, this hands-free headlamp is a good choice for the price. It provides adequate light for work within 5 feet, however it is insufficient for long distance illumination. The battery door is simply a piece of molded rubber with a ridge that stays in place. It doesn't appear to be water resistant, much less waterproof.

By Travis I like this headlamp. One thing I like about it is that the button doesn't go to the "on" position by itself (when jostled around) like some other brands I have had. This one is also good for Class 1 Div 1, which is also important. I am glad it also comes with a regular strap and then a strap for a hardhat.
