Good choice for the price Jun 16, 2008 Lightweight and fairly comfortable, this hands-free headlamp is a good choice for the price. It provides adequate light for work within 5 feet, however it is insufficient for long distance illumination. The battery door is simply a piece of molded rubber with a ridge that stays in place. It doesn't appear to be water resistant, much less waterproof.
