Will Not Hold Up Under Normal Use Jun 20, 2010 I have owned two of these lights. The hinge on the first one broke on me when I was in the Middle of New Mexico, and I thought I did something wrong. I bought the second one the day I got off the trail, and it did not even last a month before the hinge broke. I think the light is a great idea, with its lightweight design and how bright it is, but it does not hold up under normal use
disappointed... May 18, 2010 I've used this for about a year now. It is my second headlamp, but now I need a third. I got back from camping last weekend and noticed that my headlamp had broken into pieces and is unrepairable. I think I'm going to buy a Petzl.

Lightweight and does the job Sep 09, 2007 I actually clip the light to my shorts (and secure with the drawstrings) to run at night. It does a good job lighting the path in front of me so I can avoid potholes or debris on the path (branches, rocks, dog poop, etc.). I also like the fact that you can tilt the light. The battery life gives me about one month of use, but you can order cheap batteries on ebay.

Quality Headlamp that Eats Batteries Sep 06, 2007 This headlamp is built great, but it takes 4 c-cell batteries (about 8 bucks) every 50 hours. Not a good deal! Buy something that runs on triple As and gets you at least 100 hours of run time. This will cost a lot of money in the long run. I bought the Petzl Tactikka plus instead.

ok for the price May 13, 2007 Simply put...you get what you pay for. For hiking it does the job at night. But many hikers had lights that were a lot brighter, so i found myself grabbing their light to outside after dark.
