Helmet not good May 31, 2007
By D. Houston

I have a 25 inch head and bought this helmet as it was the cheapest I could find that size. Got it and wore it once and now I am trying to unload it on somebody else. Very uncomfortable helmet, hurts and lacks any real way to adjust it. Maker says can be adjusted using thick or thin pads inside but that is simply not true. If your head is bigger than 24 inches get something else. I went back and got the Bell Triton helmet (about $35) and it is perfect. I recommend the Bell Citi or the Bell Triton helmets, not this Razor helmet. The Bell helmets are a bit more expensive, but these helmets are usually a once in a lifetime expense and it is better to spend the extra money to get a good looking helmet that fits well, is comfortable, and is fully adjustable than this Razor model. Another drawback to this Razor helmet is no visor for sun/rain. Buy the Bell Citi or better yet the Bell Triton.

Men, If you wear larger than a 7 3/8 hat, NOT 4 U Jun 22, 2009
By Steven Rossellini The Razor V-17 in an extremely sturdy sport helmet. In my mid-60s, I'm more than a tad concerned about taking a fall when I'm biking. Most of the bike helmets I tried on didn't adequately cover the back of the head. They were lighter, but, in my honest opinion, without value for a fall straight back. This helmet is a very close fit for me. If I had hair, it would be too small. The interior pads are removeable to give you more room, but if you remove them, the helmet is extremely uncomfortable. If your hat size exceeds 7 3/8 do not buy this helmet. Otherwise it's a very good buy.
Because the helmet is black, I bought four orange reflectors and attached them on all sides of the helmet.

Saved my nose Aug 30, 2011
By William Burns My doctor has bugged me to wear a helmet while biking. I never did until recently but when I hit a curb and went over the handle bars, this helmet save me from breaking my nose and maybe more. Frankly, the logo could be smaller - have no idea "Razor" what but a 60 something probably doesn't fit their demographic. Good price. Some wind noise if you get up any speed or the wind is blowing. Generally a nice helmet.

Solid and comfortable, just not adjustable size Jul 24, 2009
By AZ This is a very cool looking and comfortable helmet. It is solid and feels much stronger than my previous bicycle helmet. The only potential drawback is that there is no size adjustment, so it may not fit as snugly as a conventional bike helmet that has an adjustable band in it.
I LIKE IT !!!! GREAT PRICE Feb 03, 2012

I didn't buy from Amazon. I wanted to try a helmet on first before buying. Saw this at Target. I'm a 60 y.o. guy with a 22.5 TO 23" head. It fit me perfectly!!!! It doesn't adjust, so if you are much bigger or smaller, it just won't fit. I guess I just got lucky. As for the helmet, I really like it. It's a different style than your normal bike helmet...and that's what I really like about it. I find it very comfortable. It's a deep, shiny black...very nice looking. I bought some "red star reflector stickers" to attach to the helmet, hoping to make it more visible at night. All-in-all, I'm very happy with this helmet.
I gave it only 4 stars for the mere fact that it lacks a visor that the more expensive helmets might have. But I just don't ride alot, and I don't plan on riding in the rain, so a visor just wasn't a big deal to me.
