Cool Apr 26, 2010 This item has done as advertised. It's great for keeping the sun off. It is also really easy to carrry. I tend to keep it in my vest and forget about it, until I am about go out into the sunlight. It's not exactly asthetically pleasing, but it gets the job done.
Eecellent hat Jan 23, 2010 Great hat. Light, no sweaty head and great fit. I have used on weather over 93 degrees with no problem at all.

Covers ears and neck Nov 29, 2008 This is exactly what I was looking for: a light weight white reflective hat that protected my ears and the back of my neck - protection not available on baseball caps or even some brimmed hats. The hat is made of thin nylon fabric. I have not washed yet so I can't comment on upkeep.
