5Perfect Addition To Your Bike!  Sep 11, 2007 By Warren Z.
My wife wanted a basket for her new Pacific Shorewood 26" cruiser. The Wald #133 is perfect. The basket mounts onto a small bracket that hangs on the handlebars and locks to the bracket by rotating the basket's handle. No tools are required to install the basket or to remove it. It isn't too big or too small - it looks great on the bike and increases its functionality 100%. The bike now looks like it's missing something without it. If you're looking for a quality basket that can hold a full bag of groceries and easily be removed from the bike for shopping, etc, this is the one.

5Great basket  May 06, 2008 By Bee
This basket snapped onto my bike easily and is completely functional. It is easy to remove the basket and it holds a good amount. My bike has gear lines across the front, but it was no problem to shift them around to accomodate the basket. I love it and it has made my bike so much more useful. Highly reccomend.

1does not fit most handlebars  Jul 25, 2007 By J. Ecochard
The description is misleading.
It says "Fits most handle bars except racing style".
I have tried it on 4 different bikes (2 mountain bike, a street bike and a road bike), none racing style, and the basket fits none.

The hooks are either too small for the handlebars, even using pliers to bend the wires, or the basket does not fit under the handlebar stem.
BE CAREFUL BUYING THIS ITEM that it will fits your bike. It probably will not work with handlebar stems and does not work with thicker handlebars.

5Great addition to any bike  Oct 05, 2005 By Louise "Hrpgrl"
This is a wonderful little basket, I was initially a little concerned that it would not fit the handlebars of my mountain/comfort hybrid bike and interfere with all the brake and gear cables plus the front headlight but I did not need to worry. It was very quick to install, easily accommodated all the cables etc. and is deep and sturdy enough to hold a good amount of groceries. I can detach it in a snap and take it into the store and use it as a shopping basket. When I leave it on the bike when parked, I just slip my cable lock up between the lower bars so I don't need to worry about someone stealing it. A great buy for the price, I am a very satisfied customer.

5Wald bicycle basket  Mar 15, 2007 By Eric M. Anderson "Axel Gordon"
The baskets are specifically for usage on the front of a bike, hung over the front of the handlebar. I bought and modified them to be used with a rack on the rear of a bike, but I would not suggest this to others unless you have a little 'McGuiver', time and tools handy. As far as the intended use of this item, I strongly believe that you cannot find a better device to hold what you need to safely carry on your bike: excellent product and price!
