These really, really, really don't smell--no matter what your workout. Read a review: http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/fitness/workout-gear-may07 The goodhousekeeping folks bagged up their sweaty socks for a MONTH and did a smell test. These didn't smell. It's crazy how mine don't smell, even after an hour on the treadmill and sit for the rest of the day in my gym bag.

"Keep it HUGE"
It's true, they really don't stink. And they hold up well too. I've had the same ones for about 2 years now. I've had 6 pairs, and they have outlasted the Nike Free running shoes they were bought with...still with no holes, good stretch, and no stink! Even wearing them for 2 sessions in a row if I forget my socks (yes, that's overnight in a gymbag crammed in a shoe). That durability includes a total of 12 months of 30-45min 5x/wk cardio regimen (to include street running and all forms of cardio equipment) to compliment heavy weight training. Highly recommended.
