good Feb 12, 2010 these leggings are good but not great. they are the right length and size, but they could have been a little thicker
Ordering more Feb 11, 2010 I really like these pants. I use them as long johns so it is important that they fit tight without a bulky waistband. I'm about to order several more pair and toss my old ones from the 90's that are full of holes. (Until I found these, they were the best I could do!)

You get what you pay for Dec 11, 2009 I have been loyal to Danskin for a few decades, even though I've occasionally tried other brands. The truth is that Danskin outshines them all: they're MUCH thicker (even though I'll be the first to admit that recently they've cut corners a bit like everyone else in the current economic climate), they fit the best, they're much better made, and they're durable (mine usually last 3-4 years, and I wear them almost daily). Recently, however, with Danskin's inventory evaporating as they move their operations abroad, I decided to try these. The reviews seemed decent, and the price was right. But here's the big downside: these leggings are paper thin. They're really tights, not leggings. I seriously doubt they'll last a couple of months let alone 3-4 years. The other major downside is that although they are advertised as being made of cotton and spandex (even the tag that came on them says "spandex"), they're not; they're cotton and lycra. Lycra just doesn't have the durability that spandex has. My advice: spend the extra few dollars (actually, it's only $4.50 more because you'll get the free super saver shipping)wait a little while for Danskin to get re-established and buy the Danskin brand leggings.

Magical shrinking leggings May 17, 2009 These leggings were great out of the package. They fit perfectly and were very soft. However, after the first washing they shrunk quite a bit and the softness was lost. I wouldn't buy them again.
